2017-04-05 07:16:22 GMT *** yreg is now known as Guest76630

2017-04-05 07:16:48 GMT <Guest76630> Good morning people

2017-04-05 07:33:20 GMT <___Dave> Good morning Guest76630

2017-04-05 07:33:23 GMT <___Dave> ;-)

2017-04-05 07:33:50 GMT <Guest76630> :)

2017-04-05 07:33:52 GMT <___Dave> you might want to update your name

2017-04-05 07:34:16 GMT <___Dave> otherwise we won't know it's yreg

2017-04-05 07:34:34 GMT <Guest76630> behind client proxy, IRC ports are blocked and web irc does not provide a secure connection AFAIK

2017-04-05 07:34:44 GMT <___Dave> ah, fair enough

2017-04-05 07:35:31 GMT <Guest76630> well if you were connected before me, you would know that I connected with my nick but services changed that after a certain timeout without identification :P

2017-04-05 08:07:03 GMT <Krutik> Hey guys, In my project there are few modules added using maven dependancies, all of those project contains some custom multiselect actions(like copy to , move to, start workflow etc). Now I want to override default alfresco action(copy to).I can not override this action by replace="true" configuration as this will hide other actions which are injected using maven dependancies. Is there any solution for this.

2017-04-05 08:13:24 GMT <Krutik> any update?

2017-04-05 08:42:36 GMT <qwebirc41885> interesting problem.

2017-04-05 09:24:54 GMT <alfbot> DarkStar1: Sent 6 days, 18 hours, and 32 minutes ago: <yreg> ping

2017-04-05 09:26:07 GMT <DarkStar1> ~later tell yreg I assume there's no need for me to pong you back :)

2017-04-05 09:26:07 GMT <alfbot> DarkStar1: The operation succeeded.

2017-04-05 09:26:29 GMT * DarkStar1 bids eveyone a good morning

2017-04-05 09:30:28 GMT <Guest76630> DarkStar1: there is no need indeed

2017-04-05 09:30:48 GMT <Guest76630> we already discussed what needed to be discussed yesterday on skype

2017-04-05 09:30:49 GMT <Guest76630> :)

2017-04-05 09:31:37 GMT <Guest76630> by the way, is there a clean way for overriding the JS snippet for an action or do I need to disable the action and create a new one in arder to do that ?

2017-04-05 09:31:53 GMT <Guest76630> a doclib action I mean

2017-04-05 09:33:05 GMT <Guest76630> I need to remove the references to any location other than repo in copy/move action

2017-04-05 09:33:16 GMT <Guest76630> and it seems there is no config entry for that

2017-04-05 09:33:17 GMT <DarkStar1> Guest76630: rgr

2017-04-05 09:33:39 GMT <Guest76630> Lanre ?

2017-04-05 13:51:34 GMT <Guest76630> AFaust: Packages.org.springframework.web.context.ContextLoader.getCurrentWebApplicationContext().getBean(String) does not seem to be working anymore

2017-04-05 13:52:04 GMT <Guest76630> when I use fully qualified implementation class name instead of bean id it works

2017-04-05 13:52:13 GMT <Guest76630> any idea ?

2017-04-05 13:56:02 GMT <LMattioli> Hi! Does anybody knows if has been released a guide for connecting Banana with SOLR 6?

2017-04-05 14:03:16 GMT <AFaust> Guest76630: It doesn't work since Alfresco 5.0.d due to Rhino upgrade

2017-04-05 14:03:27 GMT <AFaust> You need to provide a class as an additional selector

2017-04-05 14:04:27 GMT <AFaust> See https://gist.github.com/AFaust/beaa309837397abf961f for examples

2017-04-05 14:04:28 GMT <alfbot> Title: Useful Alfresco JavaScript console scripts ยท GitHub (at gist.github.com)

2017-04-05 14:04:48 GMT <AFaust> This is due to how Rhino handles Java VarArg parameters

2017-04-05 14:06:27 GMT <Guest76630> Thank you Axel, that is exactly what I was looking for

2017-04-05 15:41:37 GMT <resplin> I'm off to play in Southern Utah. I'll be back on Monday. Cheers everyone.

2017-04-05 15:49:40 GMT <Guest76630> enjoy your weekend resplin !

2017-04-05 15:51:37 GMT <resplin> Thank you!

2017-04-05 16:00:07 GMT <fwu> hi all!

2017-04-05 16:01:54 GMT <fwu> ppl, anyone ever heard about the concept of a certified repository and can we achieve it with Alfresco?

2017-04-05 16:02:25 GMT <fwu> content repository, of course.

2017-04-05 16:08:22 GMT * AFaust has finally found the most annoying example of "configuration by annotation gone horribly wrong" / "configuration by annotation taken to ridiculous extremes": Alfresco Activiti App

2017-04-05 16:08:37 GMT <Guest76630> hehe

2017-04-05 16:09:02 GMT <Guest76630> by the way, AFaust thank you for your public gists

2017-04-05 16:09:26 GMT <AFaust> Damn that stuff is annoying - two hours in and I still have not managed to determined the complete chain of imports / scans and how some packages are processed...

2017-04-05 16:10:08 GMT <Guest76630> hehe, isn't there some tools to do that for you ?

2017-04-05 16:10:15 GMT <AFaust> Some of the classes are not even provided in a bundled JAR, so I had to put the content of the sources JAR on my build path...

2017-04-05 16:11:07 GMT <Guest76630> sounds hacky

2017-04-05 16:12:54 GMT <AFaust> All the times I had to argue why I hate that approach... now I have an example and whenever someone questions my conviction, I can simply respond by challenging to "please show me how package X in Activiti is included from the root of the application context - in 5 minutes"

2017-04-05 16:16:36 GMT <AFaust> Apparently that whole approach even had Alfresco confused and they included a typo in the base package of one library, where it is suddenly "com.activti" instead of "com.activiti" - and have not corrected that in multiple versions...

2017-04-05 19:36:22 GMT <eswbitto> AFaust I have more questions about our conversation yesterday, but I wonder if it would be better if I created a post in the forums rather than talk about it here.

2017-04-05 19:36:31 GMT <eswbitto> that way you can get to it when you have some free time.

2017-04-05 19:37:35 GMT <AFaust> Also, it might be interesting for people not active on IRC...

2017-04-05 19:59:09 GMT <eswbitto> what is the difference between alfresco BPM and ECM

2017-04-05 20:05:34 GMT <eswbitto> AFaust I'm not sure if I put it in the right place https://community.alfresco.com/message/812466-how-to-change-the-default-my-activites-dashlet-to-user-specific

2017-04-05 20:05:36 GMT <alfbot> Title: How to change the default My Activites dashlet ... | Alfresco Community (at community.alfresco.com)

2017-04-05 20:08:33 GMT <AFaust> BPM is for the Alfresco Activiti product. ECM is for the original Alfresco product (Repository / Share)
