2017-05-15 06:16:27 GMT <twen> hello
2017-05-15 07:41:54 GMT <bhagyas> Good morning all
2017-05-15 07:47:08 GMT <bmejias> good morning bhagyas
2017-05-15 07:47:53 GMT <bhagyas> Good morning :)
2017-05-15 07:47:58 GMT <bhagyas> how is it going with CIFS
2017-05-15 07:47:59 GMT <bhagyas> xD
2017-05-15 07:48:31 GMT <bmejias> CIFS? I'm not working with CIFS... thanks the mighty lord
2017-05-15 07:48:54 GMT <DarkStar1> bhagyas: Morning dude
2017-05-15 07:48:58 GMT <bhagyas> DarkStar1: Good morning :D
2017-05-15 07:49:02 GMT <DarkStar1> bhagyas: Need about 2 mins of your time
2017-05-15 07:49:09 GMT <bhagyas> DarkStar1: Are you having the Vibrant Fivefingers?
2017-05-15 07:49:36 GMT <bhagyas> Sure
2017-05-15 07:50:56 GMT <bhagyas> Interesting how Alfresco would respond to their existing Enterprise customer, since Alfresco has demonstrated NO interest in adding SMBv2 support
2017-05-15 07:51:26 GMT <DarkStar1> bhagyas: I tried, twice this weekend, to update a 5.0.x installation to LXC 5.1.f ( I reverted the script to an earlier commit hash) but in both instances, I experienced some weird document library issues
2017-05-15 07:51:41 GMT <DarkStar1> cls
2017-05-15 07:51:56 GMT <bhagyas> DarkStar1: Was it in the Site Dashboard?
2017-05-15 07:52:02 GMT <bhagyas> did everything else work fine?
2017-05-15 07:52:54 GMT <DarkStar1> namely some folders in some sites were throwing errors (I'd get a red bar), the preferences for one user in one installation was missing
2017-05-15 07:52:57 GMT <bhagyas> Usually would recommend upgrading to the latest CE first and then migrating
2017-05-15 07:53:09 GMT <DarkStar1> bhagyas: I tried re-indexing solr and that didn't help
2017-05-15 07:53:39 GMT <bhagyas> yeah, preferences corruption is somewhat common with almost all Alfresco upgrades
2017-05-15 07:53:53 GMT <bhagyas> thankfully to an amazing JSON based implementation of the config
2017-05-15 07:53:54 GMT <DarkStar1> bhagyas: trying to update to the latest 5.2, was advised to upgrade to 5.1 first before doing that
2017-05-15 07:54:09 GMT <bhagyas> yeah
2017-05-15 07:54:17 GMT <bhagyas> see if you can upgrade to latest CE without the same issues
2017-05-15 07:54:25 GMT <bhagyas> then LX would be just a drop in
2017-05-15 07:54:30 GMT <DarkStar1> I've just reverted one of the installations back to the 5.0.b
2017-05-15 07:55:21 GMT <DarkStar1> bhagyas: well what I did actually was to install an LX then change the contentstore and db accordingly then set an update.schema to true
2017-05-15 07:55:32 GMT <bhagyas> also would recommend checking the schema version..Peter is going to respond
2017-05-15 07:55:54 GMT <DarkStar1> I figured that would be problem free
2017-05-15 07:57:52 GMT <Loftux> DarkStar1: I would prepare a repo only war for each version, do the upgrade for each version (just start and verify all patches run fine). Verify that there are no schema errors, sometimes you would have to manually fix missing indexes etc. Turn of the index in alfresco-globla.properties. No need to log in for each version.
2017-05-15 08:03:32 GMT <Loftux> DarkStar1: You can usually do a trial upgrade locally with db only, that is what I do. Just set system.bootstrap.config_check.strict=false in alfresco-global.properties. Then run each of the versions, just replace the alfresco.war for each prepped version. That will catch any patch errors and you can verify the schema check after each to see if you need to add some manual db script fixing in between.
2017-05-15 08:05:36 GMT <DarkStar1> Loftux: Thanks. I'll have to revert and try again next weekend. The production needs to be back up and running soon.
2017-05-15 08:05:39 GMT <DarkStar1> bhagyas: thanks
2017-05-15 09:20:40 GMT <mtsiak> hi all. our logs are filled with warnings: 2017-05-15 12:12:12,816 WARN [commons.impl.XMLConverter] [ajp-bio-8009-exec-1] Receiver only understands CMIS 1.0. It may not able to handle an Item type definition.
2017-05-15 09:20:40 GMT <mtsiak> 2017-05-15 12:12:13,746 WARN [commons.impl.XMLConverter] [ajp-bio-8009-exec-1] Receiver only understands CMIS 1.0. It may not be able to handle an Item object.
2017-05-15 09:20:57 GMT <mtsiak> it does not stop..
2017-05-15 09:21:04 GMT <mtsiak> have you seen this before?
2017-05-15 09:38:27 GMT <bhagyas> mtsiak: Looks like someone is trying to attack your server through CMIS :p
2017-05-15 09:38:40 GMT <bhagyas> is it open to the public?
2017-05-15 09:39:34 GMT <bhagyas> it can also be a misconfigured CMIS client re-attempting connection to the server
2017-05-15 09:53:31 GMT <mtsiak> not open. we have sso.
2017-05-15 09:58:06 GMT <mtsiak> how will we find it?
2017-05-15 09:58:19 GMT <mtsiak> which port cmis uses?
2017-05-15 09:59:11 GMT <mtsiak> one client use webdav, we have not spread any cmis clients
2017-05-15 10:13:01 GMT <mtsiak> how can i trace from where it is comming ? how should we work it aout?
2017-05-15 10:21:24 GMT <mrks_js> try localhost_access logs
2017-05-15 10:27:30 GMT <mtsiak> ../alfresco/tomcat/logs localhost.log, manager.log, host-manager.log are empty.
2017-05-15 10:27:47 GMT <mtsiak> only catalina.out, and alfresco.log
2017-05-15 10:27:59 GMT <mtsiak> have content
2017-05-15 10:42:09 GMT <cesarcapi> mtsiak, I saw a similar type of recurring logs via CMIS in a customer, with desktop sync applications misconfigured.
2017-05-15 10:43:27 GMT <cesarcapi> And very very large localhost_access logs when the periodicity of these syncs was very high (ex: 10s)
2017-05-15 11:02:35 GMT <mtsiak> cesarcapi ok. thank you all. we are checking them out now..
2017-05-15 11:05:49 GMT <cesarcapi> mtsiak, If you can see from what IP is comming, and you are using an Apache/nginx frontend you could block it quite easily
2017-05-15 11:17:26 GMT <douglascrp> morning guys
2017-05-15 11:17:34 GMT <douglascrp> come one, the mug with the bee is amazing :D

2017-05-15 11:36:05 GMT <douglascrp> cesarcapi, hey :D
2017-05-15 11:36:07 GMT <douglascrp> I don't know
2017-05-15 11:36:12 GMT <douglascrp> I do not have one :D
2017-05-15 11:37:30 GMT <cesarcapi> douglascrp, I thought you were one of the chosen :-D
2017-05-15 11:37:38 GMT <douglascrp> no
2017-05-15 11:47:11 GMT <bhagyas> ___Dave: Good afternoon
2017-05-15 11:47:16 GMT <bhagyas> Did you get to play with flow?
2017-05-15 11:47:28 GMT <bhagyas> I did some work with it during the weekend, was fun
2017-05-15 11:47:31 GMT <___Dave> flow?
2017-05-15 11:47:43 GMT <bhagyas> yeah, the type checker
2017-05-15 11:47:44 GMT <___Dave> no, we discussed prepack (which I haven't looked at either!)
2017-05-15 11:47:49 GMT <bhagyas> ohh
2017-05-15 11:47:51 GMT <bhagyas> :D
2017-05-15 11:50:27 GMT <bhagyas> prepack, I didn't get to use yet either
2017-05-15 14:29:44 GMT <fwu> hello all!
2017-05-15 14:42:51 GMT <fwu> ppl, no matter what I set in the exclude parameter of my task filter, the executed filter doesnt include my exclude...
2017-05-15 14:43:58 GMT <fwu> I guess this is hard-coded in some js file
2017-05-15 14:57:25 GMT <fwu> anyone knoes the js file where the parameters are read?
2017-05-15 16:11:00 GMT <mbui> I'm trying to send a file in a POST call like this: https://gyazo.com/2b81aa4ab97c033b9019806b5dfd8efc
2017-05-15 16:11:01 GMT <alfbot> Title: Gyazo - 2b81aa4ab97c033b9019806b5dfd8efc.png (at gyazo.com)
2017-05-15 16:11:13 GMT <mbui> Obviously that doesn't work, anyone got any other ideas on how to approach this?
2017-05-15 16:23:55 GMT <fwu> back
2017-05-15 16:30:02 GMT <fwu> ppl, I need an help here.
2017-05-15 16:30:18 GMT <fwu> Im looking into task_list.js
2017-05-15 16:30:31 GMT <fwu> There is a URL that will be called to get task information
2017-05-15 16:31:16 GMT <fwu> I need to set this url with exclude data that comes from my filters. This parameters are not being read to construct the url... and I dont know why. maybe a bug?
2017-05-15 16:31:41 GMT <fwu> there is a filterParameters but it is not being used
2017-05-15 16:33:28 GMT <fwu> can this provide the exclude parameter set in the xml filter?
2017-05-15 16:59:40 GMT <yreg> hey AFaust
2017-05-15 16:59:53 GMT *** yreg is now known as Guest48298
2017-05-15 17:00:23 GMT <Guest48298> are you aware of any bug with Aikau 1.0.67-1 and sso auth
2017-05-15 17:00:35 GMT <Guest48298> in chrome
2017-05-15 17:00:58 GMT <Guest48298> it sounds like dojo is setting user agent to a wrong value
2017-05-15 17:01:27 GMT <Guest48298> for the request to get the defaults.js
2017-05-15 17:01:31 GMT <Guest48298> webscript
2017-05-15 17:02:10 GMT <Guest48298> causing a 302 redirect
2017-05-15 17:05:13 GMT <MarkTielemans> Mbui I've found in Alfresco 5 that the Share proxy tends to lose the POST body for some reason.. You could try hardcoding the Repo url and see if it behaves differently for testing
2017-05-15 17:11:38 GMT <AFaust> Guest48298, yreg: Nope - not aware of any issues. But then again I am not using Chrome...
2017-05-15 17:11:58 GMT <AFaust> Also, there is no "wrong" value for user agent, just a value different than what may be expected...
2017-05-15 17:12:13 GMT <AFaust> User agent is just a string and should not be relied upon by any logic on the server side.
2017-05-15 17:51:36 GMT <Fiifi> Hi Guys!
2017-05-15 17:52:01 GMT <Guest48298> AFaust: except when it is used to detect how SSO auth should be done
2017-05-15 17:53:08 GMT <Fiifi> Any Sales guy in the room? I am look for a killer presentation on diff between sharepoint and alfresco!
2017-05-15 17:53:29 GMT <AFaust> Even then, it only needs to provide info about "Opera/Non-Opera" because AFAIK all SSO methods should not care about Chrome/FF/IE/Edge
2017-05-15 17:53:58 GMT <AFaust> Client (browser) should handle SSO via WWW-Authenticate / Authorization, not user agent
2017-05-15 17:58:53 GMT <Guest48298> OK thanks
2017-05-15 18:01:25 GMT <Guest48298> AFaust: just double checked with system, it looks that they are not supporting kerberos for Firefox and treating it differently
2017-05-15 18:01:45 GMT <Guest48298> they display login screen for it
2017-05-15 18:01:58 GMT <Guest48298> and for the rest they use kerberos
2017-05-15 18:20:28 GMT <fwu> ppl, in the task-list.js I need to be able to set the url of the data table source after the first get of data. How can I do this? Is it possible to change the url?
2017-05-15 18:23:36 GMT <fwu> I need to change this url after the user selects some filters.
2017-05-15 22:18:19 GMT <fwu> back
