2017-05-26 10:19:55 GMT <fwu> hello all!

2017-05-26 10:20:42 GMT <fwu> ppl, after a restart Im getting a lot of errors like these and it seems search is not working:

2017-05-26 10:21:28 GMT <fwu> org.alfresco.repo.search.impl.lucene.LuceneQueryParserException: 04268697 Request failed 404 /solr/alfresco/alfresco?wt=json&fl=DBID%2Cscore&rows=1000&df=TEXT&start=0&locale=en_US&alternativeDic=DEFAULT_DICTIONARY&fq=%7B%21afts%7DAUTHORITY_FILTER_FROM_JSON&fq=%7B%21afts%7DTENANT_FILTER_FROM_JSON

2017-05-26 10:21:44 GMT <fwu> and I have quartz errors also

2017-05-26 10:22:06 GMT <fwu> ERROR [quartz.core.JobRunShell] [DefaultScheduler_Worker-2] Job DEFAULT.org.springframework.scheduling.quartz.MethodInvokingJobDetailFactoryBean#1bf88c39 threw an unhandled Exception:

2017-05-26 10:22:18 GMT <fwu> it seems the quartz erros are related with lucene

2017-05-26 11:58:06 GMT <fwu> ppl, what this warn means? Does it means the whole model was not updated?

2017-05-26 11:58:08 GMT <fwu> WARN [alfresco.solr.AlfrescoSolrDataModel] [SolrTrackerScheduler_Worker-3] Model not updated: myDomain:myModel Failed to validate model update - found non-incrementally updated TYPE '{http://www.mytest.com/myModel/workflow/1.0}myIndexTask'

2017-05-26 11:58:34 GMT <fwu> I sometimes get this error, but then it seems the models are always updated... so I dont understand what the error means...

2017-05-26 12:18:53 GMT <AxelFaust> fwu: That means you have made a change to a type in a workflow-related model that is not compatible with the previous model.

2017-05-26 12:19:38 GMT <AxelFaust> As long as this only affects model files that only define workflow-related types/aspects (e.g. types/aspects that will not be applied to nodes) then it has little effect on SOLR since neither workflows nor tasks are indexed.

2017-05-26 12:20:00 GMT <AxelFaust> But if it affects types/aspects applied to nodes, then you run the risk of SOLR not indexing any new / updated nodes with these types/aspects.

2017-05-26 12:22:11 GMT <fwu> AxelFaust, then I think im good with that.

2017-05-26 12:22:33 GMT <fwu> and what do you think about the previous error? I restarted again, but the error remains.

2017-05-26 12:22:45 GMT <AxelFaust> Either way, you should try to avoid such changes. They can cause issues in any workflow instances that are currently running.

2017-05-26 12:23:09 GMT <AxelFaust> Well - SOLR is simply not available / running. So check if there is a startup error in SOLR and try to solve that...

2017-05-26 12:24:12 GMT <AxelFaust> Also check the configuration if host/context for SOLR calls is configured correctly

2017-05-26 12:24:32 GMT <fwu> org.alfresco.service.cmr.dictionary.DictionaryException: 04260001 Failed to compile model

2017-05-26 12:25:15 GMT <fwu> Caused by: org.alfresco.service.cmr.dictionary.DictionaryException: 04260000 d_dictionary.constraint.err.ref_not_found

2017-05-26 12:25:16 GMT <fwu> upss

2017-05-26 12:26:33 GMT <fwu> I miss a constraint...

2017-05-26 12:29:58 GMT <fwu> unfortunatly the error doesnt tells what constraint is missing...

2017-05-26 12:46:38 GMT <fwu> looking at the error it seems the wf model is referencing a constraint that doesnt exists. But every constraint ref as a constraint defined to be used...

2017-05-26 12:53:09 GMT <fwu> and I have maintained the constraints for the old version of the model

2017-05-26 12:53:45 GMT <fwu> should I clean the cache of the models from Alfresco?

2017-05-26 12:55:51 GMT <fwu> what I did was to remove some constraints defined for some fields in a type. But I leave the constraints definition, so that the old model may use them.

2017-05-26 12:56:02 GMT <fwu> so, I shouldnt get this kind of error, right?

2017-05-26 13:58:01 GMT <fwu> ok, it did the trick

2017-05-26 14:16:13 GMT *** davidwebster_ is now known as davidwebster

2017-05-26 17:15:07 GMT <fwu> ppl, im using the package item control in some workflows screens. The user will need to associate some documents to the workflow using the package item control. However, the package items only let the user to browse for documents. And if the user only has permission to subfolders, he will not be able to reach them because he cant reach the parent folder. So I was thinking if there is somehow a way to add search functionality to this c

2017-05-26 17:16:00 GMT <fwu> like a search text field and a button at the leff of the browse controls...
