2017-08-12 11:18:52 GMT <fwu> hi all!
2017-08-12 12:29:28 GMT <jpotts> I am working on some code that needs to be invoked exactly once when a comment is created or updated. I tried binding onUpdateNode and onCreateNode for FIRST_COMMIT and a transaction listener that passed the node to my service class from afterCommit, but I think I was missing something because the transaction was being made unusable
2017-08-12 12:29:56 GMT <jpotts> Is a transaction listener the way to go? What do I need to do to make sure the transaction doesn't get screwed up?
2017-08-12 12:31:17 GMT <jpotts> If I just use onUpdateNode and onCreateNode with TRANSACTION_COMMIT and no transaction listener, the code gets called multiple times
2017-08-12 12:35:50 GMT <jpotts> I should add that the service class reads the content from the nodeRef but does not update it
