2017-11-10 08:46:47 GMT <joyson> Hi Guys,
2017-11-10 08:46:53 GMT <joyson> I am trying to include aikau latest jar in share amp, When I try to build the amp file it fails saying package org.apache.commons.logging does not exist and other errors for packages in share java files.
2017-11-10 08:47:04 GMT <joyson> If I remove aikau dependency from pom.xml then everything works as expected.. any idea whats going on here ??
2017-11-10 08:53:31 GMT <DarkStar1> Good morning everyone

2017-11-10 09:21:57 GMT <david_____> good morning!
2017-11-10 09:22:32 GMT <david_____> what template do I have to change to add Support contact info to the footer of each page, by any chance?
2017-11-10 09:25:05 GMT <angelborroy> I think it’s still Surf
2017-11-10 09:25:28 GMT <angelborroy> so you can extend region-id “footer”
2017-11-10 09:26:19 GMT <angelborroy> or override footer.get.html.ftl
2017-11-10 09:47:19 GMT <hi-ko> Hi guys. I have a question concerning advanced search: Has anybody an idea how to implement an OR search or to inject additional search parameters to a search form?
2017-11-10 09:47:35 GMT <Loftux> The dashboard seem to have a limit of 5 items per column. Has anyone tried to increase that limit?
2017-11-10 09:49:02 GMT <hi-ko> loftux: so you have a 50" screen? ;-)
2017-11-10 09:51:06 GMT <Loftux> hi-ko: We have created a dashlet just just shows a small image, and when clicked links to a document. So doesn't occupy much space, and the customer wants a a lot of them now….
2017-11-10 09:52:52 GMT <Loftux> Found the dndConfig.targets.push in customise-dashlets.js
2017-11-10 09:52:52 GMT <Loftux> that has a set a fixed limit of 5. That can be overridden I guess, but only if Surf then handles it. On to testing
2017-11-10 10:03:01 GMT <Loftux> Nope, more is need than just increase maximum. That lets you add more, but only the first 5 are returned when loading the dashboard.
2017-11-10 10:35:29 GMT <AFaust> angelborroy, david_____ : The footer.get.html.ftl is for the "legacy" Share pages. The AIkau-based ones include of course a JSON fragment for the footer based on Dojo. See share-footer.lib.js as a reference. Customisation is similar to the alwaysApply approach for share-header on Aikau pages
2017-11-10 10:36:38 GMT <david_____> angelborroy, do you mean footer.get.html.ftl at /opt/alfresco/tomcat/webapps/share/WEB-INF/classes/alfresco/site-webscripts/org/alfreco/components/footer
2017-11-10 10:39:44 GMT <david_____> OK, AFaust , I'll have a look... thanks!
2017-11-10 10:56:52 GMT *** angelborroy_ is now known as angelborroy
2017-11-10 10:59:57 GMT <david_____> OK, the problem I se is that none of the PATHs mentioned in the pages exist in my Alfresco deploy...
2017-11-10 14:46:40 GMT *** angelborroy_ is now known as angelborroy
2017-11-10 14:55:00 GMT <fwu> hi all!
2017-11-10 15:02:02 GMT <xkahn> Aww... I had an answer for qwebirc89976
2017-11-10 15:11:50 GMT <cDavid> Hi all. Is it feasible to make an hot backup with a huge amount of data (>30TB)?
2017-11-10 15:21:48 GMT <yreg> cDavid, it's not the content store that you need to worry about
2017-11-10 15:21:52 GMT <yreg> it's the DB
2017-11-10 15:22:05 GMT <yreg> but it is possible, all you need to do is to start with DB
2017-11-10 15:22:34 GMT <yreg> if You do not have replication then I suspect you could do it without some down time
2017-11-10 15:23:06 GMT <yreg> as when you backup DB, it is expected to have the whole DB locked for a while until the operation finishes
2017-11-10 15:23:46 GMT <grendal_pure> can anyone help with setting up ssl with a purchased cert?
2017-11-10 15:24:11 GMT <cDavid> @yreg Thank you!
2017-11-10 15:24:22 GMT <yreg> AFaust, when in a workflow and I want a notification email to only go when operation is successful, Async action is the way to go right ?
2017-11-10 15:24:26 GMT <grendal_pure> or even self signed...i use haproxy on the router at the wall but i cant seem to figure out what i need to do to get this to work.
2017-11-10 15:25:14 GMT <yreg> grendal_pure, AFAIK it's far easier to set SSL on the reverse proxy side of things
2017-11-10 15:25:46 GMT <yreg> we use nginx internally and I know a lot of people are using Apache as well
2017-11-10 15:26:02 GMT <grendal_pure> ok currently, i just forward port 8443 to the internal ip. that i suppose is bad
2017-11-10 15:26:25 GMT <grendal_pure> because alfresco is using that ssl cert for comunication with solr
2017-11-10 15:26:58 GMT <yreg> not sure if it is "bad" or jus inconvenient (generates a hell lots of work)
2017-11-10 15:34:23 GMT <AFaust> yreg: Currently in DevCon scheduling call...
2017-11-10 15:34:42 GMT <AFaust> But yes, async actions are the way to go if you do not require a guarantee that the emails are sent
2017-11-10 15:35:33 GMT <AFaust> Sync actions are only a good idea if you only send one email, because for multiple emails you would end up with the rollback + partially sent effect
2017-11-10 15:45:18 GMT <yreg> Ok thanks, I will run that by my client, if they require a guarantee that mails are sent, then I guess I will need to setup a transaction listener, on the before commit
2017-11-10 15:45:36 GMT <yreg> to execute my action there synchronously
2017-11-10 16:18:58 GMT <grendal_pure> yreg, ok i guess my question is, what is the easyest way and do you know of a howto? Because everythign i have found on the subject is pretty vague. I have a linux software router and i use ha proxy to forward subdomains around the inside. so like dms.mydomain.com goes to the alfresco server.
2017-11-10 16:20:35 GMT <grendal_pure> but...I need to be able to install the cert on the actual alfresco server because then all of the links..(in offce and on the road) will point to the same address. I also have split dns running on that software router.
2017-11-10 18:32:30 GMT <fwu> ppl, trying to upload a document to Alfresco using cmis 1.0 atom. For any property type, if I have a constraint associated with the property, I get a conflict constraint error like this:
2017-11-10 18:33:36 GMT <fwu> DotCMIS.Exceptions.CmisConstraintException: 'Conflict'
2017-11-10 18:34:01 GMT <fwu> any ideas on this, although this is not an Alfresco library...
2017-11-10 18:41:21 GMT <douglascrp> fwu, how about the alfresco log?
2017-11-10 18:41:33 GMT <douglascrp> can't you see anything there to help you understand what is wrong?
