Daily Log for #alfresco

2018-03-23 07:32:21 GMT <yreg> Good morning

2018-03-23 08:48:52 GMT *** kpatticha is now known as kpatticha|wfh

2018-03-23 08:58:14 GMT <billerby> One irritating thing when implementing FormFilters is that when a runtime exception occurs in the filter class, it seems that this is never written to the log. Can't really figure why that is. Some architectural failure in the implementation of how filters are handled in the forms engine?

2018-03-23 10:01:57 GMT <fwu> hi all!

2018-03-23 11:15:46 GMT <lufana> Hi all,

2018-03-23 11:17:37 GMT <lufana> I have deployed a workflow in Alfresco and I am trying to add a custom popup message when an Approve button is clicked. I have written a script in activiti-transition.js but did not work.

2018-03-23 11:18:45 GMT <lufana> Then I wrote in the activiti-transition.ftl and it popup on every form load.

2018-03-23 11:18:54 GMT <lufana> Please help

2018-03-23 11:21:45 GMT <lufana> I am trying to get the Id of the button clicked by document.getElementById("${fieldHtmlId}") I am getting undefined.

2018-03-23 11:43:15 GMT <AFaust> billerby: Well, the behaviour is the same in a lot of places in Alfresco. When the error message is reported back to the caller of a ReST call, it will typically not be logged. Too bad that the caller is the Share server-side part of the Forms engine, which does not log much. If set to DEBUG it will at least output the response code of the reqeust to the Repository

2018-03-23 11:45:17 GMT <AFaust> The FormUIGet class in Share does generate an error model for the form template to render, which basically just includes the error message, which will be output as a generic <div>

2018-03-23 11:46:19 GMT <AFaust> There actually is also a single instance of an ERROR log statement for any errors that are not an AccessDeniedException

2018-03-23 12:26:20 GMT <angelborroy> no problem

2018-03-23 12:26:45 GMT <douglascrp> some users that were members of some groups, are no more members now

2018-03-23 12:26:47 GMT <angelborroy> if you use node browser, you should see the same APP node structure

2018-03-23 12:26:56 GMT <douglascrp> alfresco removed those users, and can not add them again

2018-03-23 12:27:05 GMT <douglascrp> angelborroy, yes, indeed

2018-03-23 12:27:07 GMT <douglascrp> let me check that

2018-03-23 12:29:21 GMT <AFaust> angelborroy: Judging from what members of the team typically say / tweet, ADF is easy and it's the problem of the developer if they are too old school or too lazy to read some esoteric docs to properly work with Angular and the framework...

2018-03-23 12:29:39 GMT <angelborroy> I feel like that, yes

2018-03-23 12:30:10 GMT <angelborroy> I’m reading Martin articles, probably he is understanding this framework from a point of view nearer to mine

2018-03-23 12:37:19 GMT <douglascrp> ah, I saw some differences here

2018-03-23 12:37:28 GMT <douglascrp> the users that are members of the groups are in zone AUTH.EXT.ldap1

2018-03-23 12:37:41 GMT <douglascrp> the ones that are not, but were before the change, are not in that zone

2018-03-23 12:38:35 GMT <angelborroy> and you have that users on your current AD?

2018-03-23 12:38:49 GMT <douglascrp> the last ones are only in AUTH.ALF and APP.DEFAULT

2018-03-23 12:39:09 GMT <douglascrp> yes, that user is in AD

2018-03-23 12:43:40 GMT <douglascrp> I am going to try to force a full re-sync

2018-03-23 13:52:33 GMT <douglascrp> ok, some news about my ldap synchronization problem

2018-03-23 13:52:57 GMT <douglascrp> I see that users with the attribute memberOf are synchronized and correctly set as members of alfresco groups

2018-03-23 13:53:29 GMT <douglascrp> but the ones that are simply listed as members of the groups, but without the memberOf attribute, are not set as members of alfresco groups

2018-03-23 13:53:50 GMT <douglascrp> the same problem described at https://stackoverflow.com/questions/29670893/ldap-group-has-members-but-the-members-dont-have-the-memberof-attribute

2018-03-23 14:00:53 GMT <Guest27379> I am using Alfresco 5.2.0

2018-03-23 14:36:14 GMT <angelborroy> AFaust FYI Reading Marting always help, I have it running

2018-03-23 16:47:34 GMT <xkahn> Is there a way to query for empty folders?

2018-03-23 16:49:20 GMT <xkahn> It seems like xpath should be able to do this.

2018-03-23 20:15:35 GMT <qwebirc15494> bonsoir
