Daily Log for #alfresco

2019-01-18 06:20:30 GMT <alfresco-discord> <bhagyas> https://github.blog/2019-01-17-lets-talk-about-open-source-sustainability/

2019-01-18 07:39:17 GMT <alfresco-discord> <Loftux> Yesterday we had ASS getting: "Tracking failed org.alfresco.error.AlfrescoRuntimeException: 001728470 GetModelsDiff return status is 404" and could not figure out what was causing this. Now in the morning it has healed itself 🤔 what job could make this self-healing?

2019-01-18 07:46:14 GMT <alfresco-discord> <MorganP> network issue between Solr and Alfresco?

2019-01-18 08:15:27 GMT <alfresco-discord> <Loftux> @MorganP Yes can be, but does it get a 404 then, I thought that this mean that it reached the server, but could not find.

2019-01-18 14:00:11 GMT <alfresco-discord> <dgradecak> @Loftux any proxy in between? solr webapp was down and a restart happened?

2019-01-18 14:03:33 GMT <alfresco-discord> <Loftux> @dgradecak On the same server, dedicated repo server for the indexing. Restarts of both made no difference, until it just worked the next day. The worst issues, when you cannot find out why and prevent a repeat 😏

2019-01-18 14:04:56 GMT <alfresco-discord> <dgradecak> probably on windows server than 😄

2019-01-18 14:05:43 GMT <alfresco-discord> <Thijs> @Loftux Do you have access logs on tomcat ACS?

2019-01-18 14:09:08 GMT <alfresco-discord> <Loftux> @Thijs Its for a client, I've asked for the logs (no access myself), and it should be possible to see when it started to work. So far i've not received them. So I guess that is as far as I can help them.

2019-01-18 17:33:58 GMT <alfresco-discord> <arianafiorella> Hi everybody! I have an installation of Alfresco 5.2 with a contentstore stored in an ext4 file system of 16 terabytes(first store), unfortunately, I can't increase the capacity of this unit , in consequence, I need to add a new unit(second store) and the new content will be stored here by default but the old content must remain in the first store. In addition to this I did some test using

2019-01-18 17:33:58 GMT <alfresco-discord> "content store selector" but the new content is upload in the first store and remains even if i change their store. I hope someone can help me.

2019-01-18 21:50:00 GMT <AFaust> @arianafiorella: That is sort-of normal behaviour. When you set the content store selector value, Alfresco will actually copy the content to the new store. The old content will not be deleted automatically...

2019-01-18 21:50:54 GMT <AFaust> Due to the normalised nature of data storage, other nodes may still refer to the same piece of content (think copies).

2019-01-18 22:06:48 GMT <alfresco-discord> <arianafiorella> Thanks, but how can I make it load by default to the new store?
