2019-03-21 00:15:03 GMT <alfresco-discord> <douglascrp> @edw24 you can use the webscripts like /alfresco/s/api/dictionary
2019-03-21 09:28:43 GMT <alfresco-discord> <IanW> @sbennett we've had some success elsewhere with SSO attribute release for profile information but it doesn't work for everything - a good use case is using the LDAP jpegPhoto as an avatar - something I've been asked about surprising frequently
2019-03-21 10:20:10 GMT <alfresco-discord> <Alexander Seitz> There should be a section in this discord regarding alfresco documention...where we could post wrong or misconfigurations or broken links like
2019-03-21 10:20:11 GMT <alfresco-discord> <Alexander Seitz> https://docs.alfresco.com/6.1/concepts/sdk-intro.html
2019-03-21 10:28:35 GMT <alfresco-discord> <MorganP> why would it be a broken link? There is no SDK section in the 6.1 documentation
2019-03-21 10:28:38 GMT <alfresco-discord> <MorganP> since there is no SDK atm
2019-03-21 10:29:27 GMT <alfresco-discord> <MorganP> http://docs.alfresco.com/6.1/concepts/dev-for-developers.html vs http://docs.alfresco.com/5.2/concepts/dev-for-developers.html
2019-03-21 10:29:28 GMT <alfbot> Title:Developer guide | Alfresco Documentation (at docs.alfresco.com)
2019-03-21 10:33:32 GMT <alfresco-discord> <Alexander Seitz> The Link is from the official page "alfresco get startet" page: https://community.alfresco.com/community/ecm/pages/get-started and it's just an example. I know how to use the current sdk4 beta...just asking whether we could get a section here in the discord where we could inform the alfresco team about broken links or missleading documentation information, so they could give back feedback to
2019-03-21 10:33:33 GMT <alfresco-discord> the documentation team
2019-03-21 10:33:34 GMT <alfbot> Title:Alfresco Content Services (ECM) | Alfresco Community (at community.alfresco.com)
2019-03-21 11:17:43 GMT <alfresco-discord> <MorganP> Each page of the documentation has a feedback section at the bottom to send information to the documentation team
2019-03-21 11:18:19 GMT <alfresco-discord> <MorganP> as far as I know, it goes straight to the doc. team so that's probably something that should be used for such cases
2019-03-21 12:44:08 GMT <alfresco-discord> <kgastaldo> @Alexander Seitz @MorganP is right. There should be a way on the documentation for feedback that goes right to the docs team. If you find anything in the community (IE that get started page) that is out of date, you can let me know!
2019-03-21 13:37:12 GMT <alfresco-discord> <Loftux> I've sent doc feedback using the forms. But never received confirmation /rejection of changes. And that feedback is something you do quickly when you see it, and the forget about it. So it is not like I can or will go back and check for it. But it is important to get feedback if you do take time, if not you stop doing it.
2019-03-21 13:39:06 GMT <alfresco-discord> <yreg> had the same thing multiple times
2019-03-21 13:39:20 GMT <alfresco-discord> <yreg> only got feedback on my feedback once 😄
2019-03-21 13:54:12 GMT <alfresco-discord> <kgastaldo> Checking with the docs team on how the feedback form works.
2019-03-21 13:54:32 GMT <alfresco-discord> <kgastaldo> Well, not exactly how i works - but more of how they get comments and what they do with them
2019-03-21 14:56:04 GMT <alfresco-discord> <dgradecak> guys, any idea why my custom facets "results" are all prefixed with "undefined" ?
2019-03-21 14:56:16 GMT <alfresco-discord> <dgradecak> for instance : undefined1234 1
2019-03-21 15:42:44 GMT <alfresco-discord> <dgradecak> seems due to tokenization
