Daily Log for #alfresco

2019-07-24 10:33:45 GMT <alfresco-discord> <ntaddei> Hi, I'm trying to launch ADW in local (version 1.8.0) and I receive the following error: ERROR in src/app/app.component.ts(48,8): error TS2307: Cannot find module '@alfresco/aca-shared/store'. followed by other related errors (about 100 lines). I tried to remove node_modules folder and reinstall everything but doesn't work. What can I do to solve this?

2019-07-24 12:27:56 GMT <alfresco-discord> <ntaddei> I solved this issue installing @alfresco/aca-shared but I guess you've missed out it as a dependency of something...

2019-07-24 12:33:33 GMT <alfresco-discord> <dgradecak> @ntaddei your probably want to talk to the creators of ACA at their gitter channel https://gitter.im/Alfresco/content-app

2019-07-24 12:33:34 GMT <alfbot> Title:Alfresco/content-app - Gitter (at gitter.im)

2019-07-24 12:35:09 GMT <alfresco-discord> <ntaddei> Thanks @dgradecak , is this a third party app?

2019-07-24 12:39:34 GMT <alfresco-discord> <dgradecak> nope, ACA is the community example app of how to use ADF with Alfresco content repository

2019-07-24 12:39:50 GMT <alfresco-discord> <dgradecak> but for enterprise there are other apps made by Alfresco

2019-07-24 12:40:00 GMT <alfresco-discord> <dgradecak> on top of ADF of course

2019-07-24 12:41:10 GMT <alfresco-discord> <dgradecak> ADW is one of them, but why it references aca-shared, I cannot tell for now. You can find the correct answer on gitter for sure

2019-07-24 12:42:32 GMT <alfresco-discord> <ntaddei> Well, I thought ACA was ADW... 😅

2019-07-24 12:42:43 GMT <alfresco-discord> <ntaddei> In effect I were using ACA

2019-07-24 12:42:48 GMT <alfresco-discord> <dgradecak> unfortunately not

2019-07-24 12:42:52 GMT <alfresco-discord> <ntaddei> ok

2019-07-24 12:43:10 GMT <alfresco-discord> <ntaddei> thank you

2019-07-24 12:46:02 GMT <alfresco-discord> <dgradecak> I also wish things were a bit more clear and easy to understand;) you are welcome

2019-07-24 14:34:03 GMT <alfresco-discord> <ntaddei> is ADW extensible too? Or you can just extend ACA?

2019-07-24 14:36:51 GMT <alfresco-discord> <ntaddei> According to this documentation https://docs.alfresco.com/adw/concepts/developing-extensions.html seems that ADW actually is extensible, but when you click on the link for more details you arrive to ACA documentation

2019-07-24 14:36:52 GMT <alfbot> Title:Developing extensions to the Digital Workspace | Alfresco Documentation (at docs.alfresco.com)

2019-07-24 14:37:47 GMT <angelborroy> Both are using the same extension mechanism

2019-07-24 14:41:13 GMT <alfresco-discord> <ntaddei> How can I extend ADW if I only have a docker image?

2019-07-24 14:53:22 GMT <alfresco-discord> <sumit> Hey , Can someone plz help me on this. If I create users by uploading a csv and some entries in csv are not correct(for ex with inverted commas"") then some uploaded users not gets search in people or task assignee field.

2019-07-24 14:54:08 GMT <alfresco-discord> <sumit> such users not gets searched by non-admin user while admin is able to search all the user. below is the example from the sheet.

2019-07-24 14:54:12 GMT <alfresco-discord> <sumit> user1@email.com,User,1,user1@email.com user2""@email.com",User,"2""","user2""@email.com" user3@email.com,User,3,user3@email.com

2019-07-24 14:55:08 GMT <alfresco-discord> <sumit> user1 and user3 can be searched by admin but not from a non-admin user.

2019-07-24 15:22:51 GMT <alfresco-discord> <dgradecak> @ntaddei you should better ask that the creators on their gitter channel

2019-07-24 15:23:39 GMT <alfresco-discord> <dgradecak> but I do not think for now you can do something like you want to do. It is not just a docker problem but more an angular build problem

2019-07-24 15:24:11 GMT <alfresco-discord> <dgradecak> so if I am not mistaken, but the easiest way is to build ACA/ADW with your extension directly in the docker image

2019-07-24 15:26:44 GMT <alfresco-discord> <dgradecak> @sumit what could be is that your admin uses a different locale set than your non-admin users (browser locale) and for that you should look for angel borroy's blog

2019-07-24 16:22:23 GMT <hi-ko> sumit: did you check with node browser which fields are filled for the two users? If you created all the users with the same csv upload it shouldn't relate to an locale issue

2019-07-24 16:23:21 GMT <alfresco-discord> <dgradecak> hi-ko actually it does

2019-07-24 16:24:45 GMT <hi-ko> dgradecak: how if it's uploaded in the same transaction? If I remember correctly usernames are already on the solr exception list

2019-07-24 16:25:52 GMT <alfresco-discord> <dgradecak> well here it is a search issue and I had exactly the same thing with users as he is facing

2019-07-24 16:28:32 GMT <hi-ko> alfresco.identifier.property.2={http://www.alfresco.org/model/content/1.0}userName

2019-07-24 16:29:54 GMT <hi-ko> in shared.properties should prevent that. have you shared.properties activated in your system?

2019-07-24 16:39:28 GMT <hi-ko> dgradecak: could you please check if userName is a alfresco.identifier.property in your solr6 config? If yes this should be a bug and all systems should use angels patch-alf-21940

2019-07-24 16:48:18 GMT <alfresco-discord> <dgradecak> will do tomorrow

2019-07-24 20:35:35 GMT <alfresco-discord> <MorganP> From what I understood from his message, it look like the csv itself was wrong with commas in it

2019-07-24 20:35:54 GMT <alfresco-discord> <MorganP> or quotes

2019-07-24 20:36:01 GMT <alfresco-discord> <MorganP> or whatever inverted commas means

2019-07-24 20:36:50 GMT <alfresco-discord> <MorganP> If the input csv contained wrong chars, then it has probably nothing to do with Solr

2019-07-24 20:40:37 GMT <alfresco-discord> <MorganP> I don't know, he mentioned these quotes for the user2 but then is only talking about user1 and user3 which don't have these
