2019-08-21 06:51:54 GMT <alfresco-discord> <bhagyas> @kgastaldo When and where is the next DevCon going to be?
2019-08-21 08:05:30 GMT <alfresco-discord> <bhagyas> @AFaust, just went through the alfresco-keyclock repo.
2019-08-21 08:06:04 GMT <alfresco-discord> <bhagyas> how are you planning to enforce usermapping when users are logging in through an external system, such as CIFS
2019-08-21 08:06:28 GMT <AFaust> I am not planning to support CIFS at all.
2019-08-21 08:07:30 GMT <alfresco-discord> <bhagyas> so no other subsystems will be supported? or direct auth on repository?
2019-08-21 08:07:30 GMT <AFaust> But I am planning of providing a proper Keycloak authentication subsystem on the Repository side of things, which would support regular password login as well as HTTP-based authentication via Keycloak redirects
2019-08-21 08:07:43 GMT <alfresco-discord> <bhagyas> yeah
2019-08-21 08:07:48 GMT <AFaust> I am just not planning to support anything that is already deprecated / removed.
2019-08-21 08:08:22 GMT <AFaust> The first release at this time was only meant to fill the most pressing gap for me: Share support.
2019-08-21 08:08:25 GMT <alfresco-discord> <bhagyas> I see
2019-08-21 08:09:07 GMT <AFaust> And since the first customer using this planned a release for this week, and I could not include a SNAPSHOT state, I pushed the release on that.
2019-08-21 08:11:56 GMT <AFaust> Still have to do some basic documentation on how to enable / configure the Share filter. You can see from the timestamp it was quite a late push yesterday
2019-08-21 08:12:01 GMT <alfresco-discord> <bhagyas> yeah
2019-08-21 08:12:36 GMT <AFaust> That reminds me - I think I forgot to complete the publish process for Maven Central...
2019-08-21 09:47:53 GMT *** tester is now known as Guest58727
2019-08-21 11:43:28 GMT <alfresco-discord> <bhagyas> now alfresco-swagger-gen is on the npm!
2019-08-21 11:43:28 GMT <alfresco-discord> <bhagyas> https://www.npmjs.com/package/alfresco-swagger-gen
2019-08-21 11:43:29 GMT <alfbot> Title:alfresco-swagger-gen - npm (at www.npmjs.com)
2019-08-21 13:31:18 GMT <alfresco-discord> <ERusso> Does anybody know if the amps for Xenit's alfresco-zipkin have been released on sonatype? I'm struggling to build them myself as they use gradle
2019-08-21 13:46:29 GMT <alfresco-discord> <lars> Hi @ERusso, I don't think we have published those yet. However, if you want to give it a testdrive, building them should be as easy as running ./gradlew build in the repository after cloning it. That should get the build process started without you having to download or install any additional dependencies
2019-08-21 13:47:53 GMT <alfresco-discord> <ERusso> @lars I'm struggling to configure the repositories
2019-08-21 13:49:32 GMT <alfresco-discord> <lars> Okay, let me take a look if someone accidentally depended on the enterprise repos
2019-08-21 13:52:44 GMT <alfresco-discord> <lars> It looks like someone forgot to add the public repositories. The project should be self-contained, so I'll raise an issue and get it sorted ASAP
2019-08-21 13:52:58 GMT <alfresco-discord> <ERusso> oh thanks @lars
2019-08-21 15:05:42 GMT <alfresco-discord> <lars> Hi @ERusso, a colleague informed me that snapshot builds are available at https://oss.sonatype.org/content/repositories/snapshots/eu/xenit/alfred/edge/ We should probably document that in the readme. If you encounter issues, or something is not clear, feel free to poke me here, or to open a github issue
2019-08-21 15:05:43 GMT <alfbot> Title:Index of /repositories/snapshots/eu/xenit/alfred/edge (at oss.sonatype.org)
2019-08-21 15:44:27 GMT <alfresco-discord> <ERusso> @driesdp do you know if possible to install it on 6.x?
2019-08-21 15:45:02 GMT <alfresco-discord> <driesdp> I have not tested that yet
2019-08-21 15:48:05 GMT <alfresco-discord> <ERusso> ok thanks I'll let you know if I manage to make it work with that
