2019-12-02 07:58:09 GMT <alfresco-discord> <LMattioli> Hi everybody, anyone knows if Activiti/APS is still alive? For Activiti I have problem with the docker-compose, for APS the official pages redirect me to version 1.9, the activiti roadmap was last updated in May...
2019-12-02 08:02:59 GMT <alfresco-discord> <LMattioli> Other question: anyone knows if Alfresco is compliant with this two regulamentation? FDA, 21 CFR part 11 "General - Electronic Records: Electronic Signatures", and FDA, 21 CFR part 820 "Medical Devices - Quality System Regulation"
2019-12-02 08:36:05 GMT <AFaust> LMattioli: As far as I know, APS recently received a 1.10 release, so it is sort-of "alive"
2019-12-02 08:36:19 GMT <AFaust> Still waiting on APS 2.x, whenever that is going to be finalised (if ever)
2019-12-02 08:37:46 GMT <AFaust> As for compliance to those 2 FDA rules, my typical response is always: It does not matter if Alfresco as a base software is compliant or not - the question will always be, if the particular installation in a specfici environment and with a specific set of extensions is / will be compliant.
2019-12-02 08:38:32 GMT <alfresco-discord> <LMattioli> Thank you Axel
2019-12-02 08:41:01 GMT <AFaust> I was working at a pharmaceutical / chemical company here in Germany once from 2010 to ~2013, and they did not use their Alfresco system for the compliance / regulatory relevant part. But this was not a matter of the software not supporting it, only a matter of the effort of validating and documenting the system to ensure compliance.
2019-12-02 08:42:34 GMT <AFaust> They already had a validated & documented Documentum system at the time, and the people I spoke / worked with who were involved in that often stated that any system would be compliant - they only needed a tack-on position in project's budget of at least 500k € for the validation / documentation part
2019-12-02 21:09:56 GMT <alfresco-discord> <crileiton> hello I have a problem at the moment of logging in alfresco, help
2019-12-02 21:10:40 GMT <alfresco-discord> <crileiton> hello I have a problem at the moment of logging in alfresco, help
2019-12-02 21:11:53 GMT <alfresco-discord> <mbui> @crileiton that's not very helpful information, could be anything. Could you provide more information?
2019-12-02 21:13:22 GMT <alfresco-discord> <crileiton> OK, I am following this tutorial https://github.com/loftuxab/alfresco-ubuntu-install for ubuntu installation, but at the moment of logging in it does not let me enter with any username
2019-12-02 21:13:23 GMT <alfbot> Title:GitHub - loftuxab/alfresco-ubuntu-install: Alfresco script based install for Ubuntu (at github.com)
2019-12-02 21:15:05 GMT <alfresco-discord> <mbui> Sounds like your Alfresco repository is not up. Can you access the repository? It's usually accessed at something like localhost:8081/alfresco
2019-12-02 21:16:23 GMT <alfresco-discord> <crileiton> if the login window appears to me, but it does not allow to enter with any username and password
2019-12-02 21:18:35 GMT <alfresco-discord> <mbui> That means you have started Alfresco Share, the web client.
2019-12-02 21:18:56 GMT <alfresco-discord> <mbui> Alfresco Share needs to connect to the Alfresco repository in order for you to login
2019-12-02 21:19:40 GMT <alfresco-discord> <crileiton> How do I do that?
2019-12-02 21:22:12 GMT <alfresco-discord> <mbui> Check if the repository is started first, either by accessing it via a browser or checking if there's a java process running with ps or netstat or similar.
2019-12-02 21:22:33 GMT <alfresco-discord> <mbui> If it's not started or didn't correctly start, then you need to troubleshoot that and start it
2019-12-02 21:24:12 GMT <alfresco-discord> <crileiton> if correct if it works, I access the IP of my server and 192.168.0.30:8080/share and the access window appears to me, the problem is that no credentials work
2019-12-02 21:25:09 GMT <alfresco-discord> <mbui> ok, can you try and access 192.168.0.30:8080/alfresco or 192.168.0.30:8081/alfresco
2019-12-02 21:25:23 GMT <alfresco-discord> <mbui> or whatever port the Alfresco repository is configured to
2019-12-02 21:31:55 GMT <alfresco-discord> <mbui> the only thing we can confirm is that you managed to start Alfresco Share, however Alfresco consists of several other services that needs to be up and running before you can start using it.
2019-12-02 21:33:10 GMT <alfresco-discord> <crileiton> wait for me a minute please
